IMPORTANT NOTICE

A Vacation Rental License application requires additional documentation, including documents from State and County agencies. It is advised that you gather all required documentation before proceeding with this application. The required documentation includes:

  1. a current and active license as a Transient Public Lodging Establishment with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation;
  2. a current and active certificate of registration with the Florida Department of Revenue;
  3. a current and active account with the Broward County Tax Collector for Tourist Development Tax;
  4. a current Local Business Tax Receipt with the Broward County Tax Collector and City of Hollywood;
  5. an interior building sketch by floor;
  6. a sketch of all on-site parking spaces;
  7. a notarized letter from property owner designating the Vacation Rental Representative (if Representative is not the property owner);
  8. a notarized certification bearing the signature of all owner(s) and all their authorized responsible party(ies).
